CAHS Toronto was founded in 1964 by a group of local enthusiasts working in the local aviation and aerospace industry who recognized the need to preserve the rich heritage of our community. Since then, we have grown into a thriving organization that serves as a hub for historical research and education.

Our collection includes 60 years of Flypast newsletters and tens of thousands of photographs that tell the story of aviation in the Greater Toronto Area and Canada for more than 115 years . From early barnstormers and bush pilots to modern-day airlines and aircraft manufacturers, our future virtual exhibits offer a glimpse into what life was like in aviation at different points in history.

At CAHS Toronto, we offer a wide range of programs that cater to aviation history enthusiasts of all ages. We host seven in-person speakers a year and additional webinars, provide speakers to local community groups, and publish the Flypast newsletter. Our goal is to share our love of aviation history with as many people as possible.
